Jesse Pietilä is a finnish interior architect and furniture designer.
After graduating as a Ma from University of Art and Design Helsinki (nowadays Aalto University) in 2008, he started his own practice.
Currently Studio Jesse Pietilä, based in Helsinki Finland, works both self-initiated and comissioned furniture projects.
Concentrating primaly on furniture design he has created a design methodology for wide range furniture collection for domestic and public enviroments.
Also he is familiar with spatial design in means of office-, exhibition- and restaurant design.
With the aid of several grants and awards he has developed a recognizable design language.
The design process itself nearly always consist from true material prototypes he prepares himself.
Chosen design language is to be predominant to skilled technical detailing.
Pietilä´s mission in his design is to provide a sight for contemporary world in which both history and future can be observed in a present moment.
